Welcome to Morganville painting! Originally done in April before the release of @rachelcaine’s Black Dawn - have now updated it so Shane has a flame thrower! and a few other little small edits! This will be available as a print @ Supanova Expo in November where the amazing Rachel Caine will be attending! Cannot wait to meet this amazing author! Stop by and say HAI if you’re around, I’d love to chat to some MV fans! <3 Hoping I can finish my Myrnin painting by then too - looking @ it now it needs ALOT of rework.. oh well, maybe inspiration will hit this week! Myrnin concept art of @rachelcaine’s #MorganvilleVampires fame. Trying for a painterly (??) portrait effect in the final piece. And gorram it if I can’t get Myrnin’s face pretty enough! Grr arrg. Looks a bit too snooty here; the right age though I think? Terrible judge of ages so what would I know?! lol Not modern day Myrnin, historical portrait - though I sooo wish I could get his bunny slippers in here! Maybe if I made it a full body portrait #ponders Well, lineart is not finished piece - painting it will help! Spending my weekend alternating between this and my Doctor Who painting for Supanova Expo! For now, allergies are sending me to an early Friday night sleep! G’nite tumbling boys n gals! Welcome to Morganville painting.  In anticipation of the release of @RachelCaine’s Black Dawn in 3 days (!!!!!) I’ve been working on a Morganville Vampires piece of art. This is what came out! Not really spoilerish unless you haven’t read Last Breath! I was lucky enough to be given the chance to read an ARC of Book 12 of the Morganville Vampires series, Black Dawn, and have written a (spoiler-free) review which will be posted on the Tea, Daydreams and Fairytales book blog this weekend - check it out when it’s up!
